Home to a wealth of mystery, mythology and history, Cyprus is a cultural hotspot for many tourists. Charming villages, stunning mountain backdrops and spotless beaches certainly make for a memorable holiday.

Paphos is a relatively small town, attracting many tourists each summer, when temperatures can reach up to 30°. As well as its many remaining ancient sites and beautiful harbour, it offers an excellent selection of shops and restaurants. There is also a pretty beach with beautiful waters, ideal for watersport enthusiasts.

Ayia Napa on the other hand, is party central. In the daytime, its wonderful beach, sparkling blue seas and shops offer a respite from the evening before but it is of course the nighttime entertainment for which this resort is principally known. Bars, nightclubs and venues offer a never-ending source of revelry for young couples and groups.

Limassol’s main area for tourism is concentrated on the sea front, with any amount of shops, bars and restaurants. With its cosmopolitan feel, it is one of the most popular destinations in Cyprus, offering watersports facilities, tours around its famous vineyards or its many archaeological sites.

Protaras is situated on the eastern coast of Cyprus and is particularly noted for its selection of fantastic beaches. Particularly suited to all-inclusive holidays, visitors to this area enjoy exploring its caves, unusual rock formations and hiking trails. Nightlife here is low key, although there are a number of venues, making sure that tourists are well catered for.
